Job Tasks

Converting information from new injury packets into our database system.

Creating events for follow-up appointments
-
Adding notes into the database system
-
Completing follow-up slips
-
Submitting new injury paperwork into the workers’ compensation carrier
-
Emailing the employer with updates
-
Communicating by phone and email with adjusters, clinics, injured workers, and employers
-
Closing claims
-
Auditing injuries for OSHA
-
Attending claim reviews outside of the office (travel required)
Requirements
-
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish
-
Organizational skills
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with weekends included
-
At least one year of previous experience in data entry and worker’s compensation
-
At least one year of previous experience with Microsoft Office
-
US Work Authorization required
